The figs scared a few folks off but everyone else that tasted it asked for the recipe. The sweet/salty contrasting flavors were a hit!

I keep a batch of this in my freezer at all times and treat myself to a piece or two now and again.

An easy, fancy treat to put out for company! Next time I might just pop a whole almond into a slit in a whole fig, dip it in chocolate and flake the salt on top as opposed to making the bark. It's delicious, but hard to get all the good stuff in one bite.
