LOVE it... Just a little different, simple, not too heavy.

I grew up on Spanish-style rice pudding which Iove, but this has a little extra something that makes it better.

Loved this recipe. This is a favorite desert whenever my wife and I go to one of the many Indian restaurants around our area. This is as good as any that We've had and better since we were able to make it at home for ourselves. The directions were very easy to follow. We look forward to experimenting with other Aarti Party recipes

Thought it was just ok, the kheer was too thick and I thought the vanilla extract ruined that flavor of the cardomom. I added a cinnamon stick while the milk was boiling which added a nice flavor. Can use 5 splenda in place of sugar if you want. I had done 4 but not sweet enough. I would try this recipe again with some changes.

Super easy, but I was disappointed with the taste. Even when I cut the sugar down, I still thought it was too sweet. Also, the cardamom was too strong so I'd recommend halving the amount.

I used 4 cups whole milk & 1 cup 2% milk. I only used 1/3 cup sugar & it was plenty sweet. I love the cardamom flavor. It thickened up nicely in about 30mins, I stirred every 1-3 mins to ensure it didn't form a skin or stick to the pan. Very nice dessert - I served it hot & my husband loved it.

This was the most amazing rice pudding I have ever had! If you are using skim or low fat milk, subtract the amount of milk by a cup or a half cup. It was good both hot and cold. It smelled amazing due to the cardamom.

My fiance loved this despite my not putting enough water in the rice. I personally didn't like it that much.
