Delicious! Most definitely a light "chick" soup because of the cabbage...which my dad wasn't fond of because he'd rather have noodles. I had friends asking for the recipe. A great recipe to throw in the crock pot. Maybe next time I'll throw in some mushrooms!

I loved it, but I used low sodium broth instead...note; cole slaw is shreaded cabbage in a bag, because it is a low-cal dish made it even better...

This was EXCELLENT!! I threw it all in the crock pot before work and put it on low for 7 hours. The smell was heavenly as soon as I walked though the door! easy healthy and delicious!

This was quick and easy, and the flavor was good, if not quite as delicious as I would have liked. Like way too many slow cooker recipes it was a tad on the bland side. I have no idea what "dry coleslaw mix" is, so I used chopped celery instead as others mentioned doing. Can't get the right beans here either, so used Great Northern beans. My husband said he would have liked more tomatoes, so next time I'll probably try it with two cans instead of one can of tomatoes.

I am always afraid with slow cooking recipes, and this one will be part of my favorites! Even my 5 and 2&1/2 year olds liked it. My biggest surprise was the firmness of the vegetables even after cooking for 8 hours on low.
    Great recipe!

I really enjoyed this soup. I tweeked a bit and instead of cole slaw I added celery. Since I didn't have thyme, I added dried parsley instead. Also cubed the chicken after cooking it. First time I shredded it, it fell apart too much for my liking. I added fresh snow pea inplace of frozen ones since I am not a fan of peas..Bon appetite!

Surprisingly flavorful, healthy and easy! I am always suspicious of crockpot recipes but continue to look for good ones ...this recipe is a definite keeper!

It was a rainy day and crockpot faire sounded just right. I always try the 5 star recipes first. This one did not disappoint! I was skeptical because of the lack of seasonings (just salt, pepper and fresh thyme but the aroma, as it simmered, made our mouths water. Very hearty and flavorful one-dish meal. Plan to make it again and again.

I am no good cook. I made this for guests with a big loaf of fresh bread and got raves from the 4 year old to the 80 year old. The flavor is so good and it was so easy. I don't buy canned soup anymore.

I am a beginner cook, and this recipe is the easiest I have ever made... substituted celery for peas & 1/2 cabbage for coleslaw. Also left out the thyme & bay leaf. This is my third time making it and it has been a hit all three times... Love the taste and texture of the white canned beans.. I was so surprised that they did not even get soggy.. thanks Hungry Girl..
