I loved this soup! I had everything on hand except for actual maple syrup. I used a little bit of maple flavoring and a little bit of regular syrup. Worked well.

This was such a big hit at Christmas this year! Everyone raved about it and asked for the recipe. It was very easy to make, although I doubled the recipe and found that maybe I need to ask Santa for a really big soup pot for feeding my family! DELISH!!!! Hint, it you don't have fresh rosemary, chop it up really finely before adding to soup!

This was a very nice recipe and I had all the ingredients on hand. Very great flavors and aromas, however I found it too sweet for my taste after two tablespoons of maple syrup. Other than that I will make this again, but without the maple.

This is a good and unique soup. I used 2 sweet potatos, 2 lbs of cut up butternut squash, 1 tsp of curry powder, 1/4 tsp of ground ginger and a dash of cayenne pepper. I also didn't have mascarpone cheese so I used yogurt. It came out really tasty and is a perfect Fall soup!

What an amazingly delicious and creamy soup! Even my husband who usually turns his nose up at sweet potatoes, thought this was excellent, and I'm pretty sure we'll be eating this often. Loved the marscapone, but will try the yogurt next time.

Ahhh, fall in a bowl! This was so silky and decadent, a perfect starter for a Fall dinner party. I also took another reviewer's advice to use yogurt rather than the cheese and it added a wonderful tanginess. Most "sweet potato" recipes really mean yams, but this one may actually mean sweet potatoes, by the lightness of the soup in the picture, mine came out bright orange due to the yams. Either way, as a yam loving family, this is a great addition to our favorites.

It was delicious. Used yogurt instead of the marscapone; did not have any on hand.

I have made this soup a few times and it always turns out perfect! I have yet to use fresh rosemary but the dried works perfectly. Even tasters who are not fond of sweet potatoes devoured their whole bowl!
