These are great cookies with a perfect texture. I used white chocolate chips because that goes well with cranberries. I found the cookie batter a little too sweet for my taste, so next time I will put a little less of the white sugar. I used a regular ice-cream scoop & it made about 16 medium cookies. I'd definitely make these again, perfect as Christmas gifts.

This recipe makes seven 4 ounce scoops of cookie dough and two ounces of dough remaining after the seven are made. They just came out of the oven and they look outstanding.

This cookies were absolutely delicious and a great addition to my holiday cookie platter. They were chewy, moist and absolutely mouthwatering. I used semisweet chocolate chips in place of the chocolate and made them smaller, but other than that, i followed the recipe to the letter.

These were so easy and the best tasting oatmeal cookies. Only thing I changed was the chocolate, semi-sweet was picked up for me, and it all worked out. Delicious when warm and just as good the next morning with coffee; only two left by then.

These were absolutely delicious. I made half of the cookies without cranberries and then put in 1/2 cup cranberries for the other half of the batch. Everyone loved them!

Delicious!!! I followed the recipe to a tee, including the cooking time. The cookies were perfect! Moist and flavorful. The did not need any doctoring at all. I was a bit apprehensive at taking the cookies out after 15 min. of cooking as they seemed under cooked. I went with the recipe and pulled them out of the oven, then left them to cool on the cookie sheet. Very glad I did as I could image that they would have been over cooked and hard as a rock if I had not followed the directions and let them cook longer. I'll be giving these as Christmas gifts!!!

Good recipe. It's good also with white chocolate chips and is similar to a Paula Deen recipe using dried cherries, but I do prefer the Craisins.

I think this recipe is a good foundation-- but am surprised by the rave reviews of others. It is indeed a stiff dough , to the point of dry. Making this for a key holiday work brunch, I tested this in batches before-hand.
-- I used dark chocolate chunks (62% cacao
-- I mascerated the cranberries in orange juice and 1 tbsp. Grand Marnier
-- Do NOT overbake!!! They will be as dry as dirt.
--I drizzled white chocolate on top of a few cookies, and garnished with toasted coconut. I added pistacio nuts to a few others.
--I added orange zest to the batter, which made a huge difference.
--Will add another egg next time and some orange juice for a moister cookie.
--Would work well with cherries and almonds for February.
