This was awesome. I made it with cilantro instead of parsley because that is what I had on hand and it was great. I think it needed a sauce of some kind. I had sour cream in the fridge and that gave it just what it needed. Maybe a garlic aoli would be even better.

I have made these 3 times since I watched the show....I LOVE them. So different, so delicious!
I actually made the mayo dipping sauce Aarti uses for her fish tacos, to dip the Arayes in. I forgot to sprinkle salt on top before I baked them, but still tasted great! I am hooked on Indian
cooking and look forward to more delicious recipes!!

I loved these little pitas and so did my family. Instead of just beef, I also used ground turkey breast for two varieties and made them a main meal with a salad. Adding a little cucumber/yogurt sauce as a condiment adds even more flavor. They were easy to fix and delicious.

Such a great easy party idea. Being British and having spent time in India, I love the Indian twist on all Aarti's food.

These were so good! I used 93% lean beef, and a 1/2 tsp of garam masala. Just didn't seem like enough with only 1/4 tsp. They came out nicely browned, crispy and tasted great. My family loved them! I served them as a meal cucumber/mint raita on the side, which we used for dipping. So delicious! I'll be making this again, for sure.

Loved the concept. I added more spices, but the amount of fat in the meat can make the pita soggy so use lower fat. Also, I added an egg to the mixture to bind it. I cooked it in a 400 convection oven and it was done in 11 min. and was delicious and crispy. this is a keeper!

Made these to bring to a New Years Eve party. I too added more garam masala than suggested, and more garlic and S&P. I seeded and cored the tomatoes, so mine were not soggy. I cooked them a little longer, for 15 min on the first side, and then ten after flipping and they came out nice and crispy. There were taco loving kids at the party, so also made the same recipe and subbed taco seasoning and lime juice and made a second batch with Monterrey jack cheese. Kids gobbled them up. Thanks Aarti! Love your show and the easy but very flavorful recipes!

I had the same problem, mine were not crispy. I even drained the chopped tomato per previous review. I wonder if it would be better to brush with the olive oil on the second side after you flip them half way through-or maybe not. I also think they could benefit from more seasoning in the meat mixture- more garam masala, salt, and maybe lemon zest plus the juice.

Overall my husband and I really liked the flavor and I will definitely make them again. My only problem was that mine did not come out crispy but really soggy and I don't know why. My only thought is that maybe my tomato was too juicy (which it was...Could that be it? I did follow all the steps carefully and put them in the oven immediately. I am open to suggestions.
Aarti, I love your show and your personality! I'll keep watching!
