I stuck to the recipe for the most part and it turned out fabulously. The pork took a bit longer to cook than the recipe indicates. My bf and I agreed that it's one of our new favorite dishes to cook, it's so easy! Next time we'll probably add some spice to it to give it a little kick.

Loved it! Super easy to mix everything together. Great for weeknight dinner! I added some mushrooms and served it with brown rice! I will definitely make this dish again!

I give this four stars instead of five simply because the recipe did not include enough veggies. I added an orange pepper and mushrooms, along with pineapple and served it over brown rice. Absolutely delicious and will make it again. The sauce was plentiful even with extra vegetables and 1-1/2 lb. of pork.

Absolutely GOOD! tasty and easy to cook. This recipe is good on a weekend day, since not too much labor involved, as well as on a weekday, when you cannot spend too much time in the kitchen. Excellent for any member in the family!
I'll try it with chicken next time.

    THIS IS SO GOOD!
I made my own soy sauce. Used a yellow onion in place of scallions. Added red, yellow and orange peppers in place of all sugar peas. Next time I will try some pineapple. I can't wait to make this again next week.

Excellent base recipe. I substituted 75% reduced sugar Heinz for reg ketchup & Splenda for sugar and less of it. I stretched the recipe by adding celery, red peppers, mushrooms & chunks of pineapple. Also had pork the night before so subbed chicken, which was excellent. Thinking about using it on ribs. Oh, and Wasabi adds a great punch of flavor to offset the sweet. Or cayenne is good too. Chop On!

The ketchup taste was way too overpowering in this recipe. I tried letting it simmer a little longer in the hopes that it would cook off but it did not. Definitely won't be trying this again.

A little salty for my taste. I may have added a bit too much sugar as well. Either way, I probably won't try this one again.

Absolutely delicious! Definitely a keeper to my collection. I think I used a bit less sugar though. Made it for whole family (5 adults and they ALL loved it.
