I followed the recipe exactly and have to say this is the first time I have not cared for a "Rachael Recipe". It was very easy to make...but my chicken was a little tough, the potatoes were not quite done, and the overall taste was bland. I have been cooking for over 50 years, so I am sure I did everything correctly! I thought it sounded so good too! Sorry.

I cooked this dish last night for my daughters 15th birthday. Just had grandparents over and the 5 of us. OMG!!! Everyone loved it. I was able to start it while still watching my daycare kids and wrap it up after they all left. Easy and who'd a thunk apples would be so good in that dish. All I can say is yum, yum!!

Outstanding! I used boneless chicken breasts because that is what I had on hand and honey in place of the maple syrup. This is a keeper! Family loved it!

When I watched this episode, it looked and sounded so good. Well I was right. It was fantastic, I followed the recipe exactly. My kids also loved it. Next time I make it I will add extra apples.

Honey. She said you could substitute honey for the maple syrup.

This recipe looked sooo good. However, I do wish that when the recipes are posted, they would say the tips the chefs say while cooking!!Does anyone recall what Rachel said would make a good substitution for the maple syrup? Thanks.
