I thought this was good. I would probably give it 3 stars except that my super picky kids ate it. They said they only ate it because of the bacon! This was easy and good but not amazing.

SO SO SO GOOD! I am so surprised at how simple and fast this recipe was, and yet it was probably the best spaghetti carbonara I've ever made! My husband is constantly requesting me to make this. I make this almost every week, because it's so fast and it feeds a good amount of 4 people. Thanks Sandra!

This was very easy to make and I always have all of these ingredients on hand for a quick meal. It was delicious and I would for sure make it again. I have not always had very good outcomes with Sandras recipes but this one is a winner just be sure to remove the pan from the heat before slowly adding the egg mixture stirring it constantly while you add it so it doesn't scramble the eggs and than add the starchy pasta water to create a creamy sauce. I would also say not to salt until the end because with the pasta having been salted while cooking and than using that same salty pasta water for the sauce and the bacon it has plenty of salt already. Its a winner!

Absolutely AMAZING!!! I have some really picky eaters, but I figured I'd give it a whirl anyway. I am so glad I did. I've never seen such clean plates:-

Really good. Just be careful to not scramble the egg mixture and it makes a creamy, tasty sauce.

This is quite authentic. Whoda thunk Aunt Sandy knew her Carbonara...well, she uses bacon instead of pancetta but so does most of America.

Delicious! I may have forgotten about saving the bacon fat, but I adjusted. Love it!
