Though this cornbread was good, I felt like it was kind of a waste of fresh mozzarella since I couldn't really taste it in there. Also the texture was a little crumbly and dry for my taste. Next time I might try Monterey Jack, like another reviewer suggested.

Was disappointed, just tasted like cornbread! Did not get any flavor from olives, scallions, or cheese.

This is THE BEST cornbread ever!! Seriously though, I made it for dinner one night and it got devoured. It's incredibly moist, tender, you get a little tang/brine from the olives, and it's really cheesy. We fought over the last piece. I've made it three times since. It is now my go-to cornbread recipe.

I tried this recipe and was so dissappointed. I couldn't detect the cheese nor the chopped olives. All I could taste was the sweet Jiffy corn meal mix. Sorry Giada.

I'm from the south and love the different additions of the olives & cheese. Now that I'm in the west, I like using Monterey Jack in lieu of the Mozzarella.

I tried this recipe and like it but be sure you use FRESH mozzarella cheese. The prebagged cheese is a lot dryer and has a additive on it that makes it not stick to itself in the package. It definitely will make your bread crumbly.

Fantastic flavor, with practically no hint of the green olives, other than color. I've made this twice. My two recommendations are (1 to make sure it's cooked thoroughly (par-baking won't work for this and (2 don't exceed the amount of mozzarella, thinking it'll be cheesier.

This was super tasty! Texture was perfect. It was a nice change from regular cornbread. I will definitely make this again.

Taste was great. However, it was too crumbly. Maybe I cooked it too long. Will try again. May even try other options besides green olives
