I followed the recipe exactly, and I would have liked more dressing. It is a delicicous and different salad. I recommend it!

Tasty and different idea but agree it is too much oil. It might work if you truly used that much kale but if you want a small amoun (and remember that the kale shrinks considerably then cut back. You can always add more.

I thought this was lovely and so different. The dressing was full of flavor - I will re-use that component in other recipes. I had two full trays of chopped kale and definitely needed all the dressing. I made two small adjustments - in addition to 1 clove raw garlic, I added 3 cloves of roasted garlic to the dressing since I had them on-hand. I also used more like 1.5 tsp of worcestershire. I would also recommend cooking the kale to crispy per the recipe - that was a key piece of the textures here. I made the mistake of pulling some kale out of the broiler too early. Definitely outside the ordinary for salad! Will make again.

Thought this was a very good recipe. Didn't need all the dressing, and I had the 1.25 lbs of kale. A very good way to include such a leafy green into a salad.

I love, love, love this and I think I know what the oil problem is. This recipe calls for 1 1/4 POUNDS of Kale. That's quite a large amount and most people don't purchase that much at once. I worked for a fresh veggie market as a cashier for quite a while and I would say typically people purchased about 1/2 to 3/4 pound bunches. Not to mention many people get kale and do a lot more trimming that is necessary. Anyhow....I would, even with all of that Kale cut the oil down to probably 1/4 cup at the most. Otherwise this recipe is REALLY good. I cooked it in the toaster oven and I'm pretty sure I did it in two batches. Gets crispier with a convection. Yummy!

Way too much oil. I would cut it down to 1/4 cup or even less. I wouldnt cook the kale quite as long either. If its too crispy it doesn't even taste like a salad. It taste like potato chips.

I like this recipe. I am already a big fan of roasted kale so this just amped it up a bit. Will make it again!
