I am a big corn fan and this dish was quick, easy, and delicious!

The instructions are incorrect. I watched her make this on her show
and she did use a blender. I made this corn pudding but it did not set. I wished that I had read the reviews first. All it needed was
3 more tablespoons of corn starch and 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla
extract and it was perfect. I used low fat milk and it was delicious.

I have not made this recipe yet, but watched the episode and the recipe was blended in a Waring blender and not in a bowl. Use a good blender to blend the ingredients and then strain thru a fine sieve and pour the mixture into a sauce pot and cook till Nappe:
In cooking, nappe refers to either the ability of a liquid to "coat the back of a spoon" or the act of coating a food.

Just like for the previous reviewer the puddding did not set! I used low-fat milk, not sure if it contributed to the problem....The flavor was good though, but I would use gelatine in addition to starch next time I make it.

Addendum: Well, I went to serve up some of this great tasting pudding but it had not set up:( I put it back in the pot I had used earlier, whisked in another 3 1/2 tbs cornstarch and brought it to a full boil, while stirring continuously. After letting it come back to room temp I returned it to the refrig and ta da...pudding!!!

Directions are totally different from what I saw on TV. I would hesitate to try another of her recipes if I had not seen it made on her show. This is a most unusual recipe..not sure that I will make it again.

I wish I had seen the episode because the recipe (including the review below confuses me! Why strain it if you're going to put it all together in the saucepan? And maybe it should be cooked before cooled? Another recipe error/omission. . . I bet it tastes good if you know how to make it!

Instructions are incorrect...should say to blend in a blender and then strain.

Another winner, I used less sugar than called for, and served this with a steak dinner. Thanks Claire
