My husband and I made this recipe last night and it was perfect. The changes we made were to make one roll and we used a flour sack towel to roll it in. Then we cooked it in a fish pan (a long, deep and narrow pan. Ours has a rack which made it very easy to lift out too. We just had a tea kettle of hot water to be able to add over the roll. Fun recipe and very pretty.

I plan to make this recipe soon; I'm commenting because I don't think it's fair to mark a recipe with a single star when one is only commenting on their personal views of the show, not the recipe. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the shows when Aunt Raffy is on. She is a delight! If anything, I wish Giada would lighten up with her...however, it's probably an arranged thing for television. It's obvious of the closeness of their relationship. Keep Raffy shows coming, Giada!

giada is my favorite foodnetwork star, been watching her since the beginning...have her books, love all of her bright and shiny episodes... but this episode with aunt raffy was hard to watch due to her on-air negativity... she's done this before. :(

this recipe really impressed me. I have never tried to make my own pasta but like Giada said, it's not that difficult. Anyway, I made a little more dough and filling since we all have pretty big appetites. Someone made a suggestion to use Ina's Marinara Sauce recipe and that looks wonderful so I would try that next time. Here's the one change to the recipe I made: I cooked up pancetta and sweet onion and used that in the filling instead of the prosciutto. That was sooo good. I think the recipe needed a little bit of more meat in it and i'm not a big fan of the ham. We really enjoyed this and I will make this again. Thanks Giada!

Unlike some other reviewers, I actually MADE this recipe! (I wonder why people rate recipes they haven't tried?. My wife and I look forward to Raffy's occasional visit, and enjoy their banter, as do they, apparently! Anyway, this recipe was delicious! Too good not to try! (We used a larger pot, per Raffy's suggestion!

Love, love, love this recipe! Please keep the Aunt Raffy episodes coming!!! She is a hoot, and it is a kick to watch Giada 'tweak' her recipes, and her response! Aunt Raffy always gives a final thumbs up in the end and you can see the love she has for her niece. Don't do away with Aunt Raffy, please!!

I actually made these! They were great, and very easy to make. I don't care about the aunt, the daughter, the set, the kitchen, or what clothes she wears. Just the food.

My comment is much like a previous one. I am going to try this recipe simply because I enjoy so much watching Giada and her Aunt Raffy's cooking episodes! I won't suggest a Giada and Raffy show, but these are some of the best episodes of Giada At Home. I'd like to suggest that now that her daughter is older, it might be *very* cute to include her, too!

I am looking forward to trying the recipe as I am a big fan of Giada! I just wanted to add I am always thrilled to see Giada cooking with her Aunt Raffy. It seems very genuine, much like something I would experience in my own family (the Italian side. I look forward to many more episodes where she cooks with her Aunt Raffy.

How about keeping reviews about the food? It's seems mean spirited and a waste of time to make negative comments about Raffy (or anyone else. When families stand elbow to elbow in the kitchen the main ingredients are humor, love, connectedness and yes, sometimes competitiveness and tension... all in the name of sharing family memories and good food. Be a critic of the food, not the people...life's too short, try the recipe! I'm willing to bet Raffy doesn't have a "bitter" bone in her body (just her dried lemons yummm!
