HOLY COW BATMAN!!!!! This is unbelievable! This is only the second frozen dessert I have made. The first one was lousy so I almost didn't try this. So glad I did! It tastes like a frozen strawberry smoothie. Followed the recipe exactly except I actually used non fat yogurt and about 1/2 tsp vanilla. The texture was still wonderful and I couldn't tell it was non fat. I also added more lemon because I like it tangy. Next time I might try only 1/2 cup sugar, but NOT because its too sweet...its perfect. Just thinking lower calorie. I am not an ice cream fan, but had already eaten a lot of this before it was done in the machine. My Dad is an ice cream fanatic and was blown away. And all this with no chemical additives! This is fresher and yummier than anything store bought I have had. Thank you so much Neelys!!!!!

This was fantantastic. I used a bit more lemon rind and juice and replaced rum and vanilla bean with a tablespoon of vanilla extract. Was actually one of the best desserts I ever made.

Amazing! I halved the recipe and used a 10 oz. bag of frozen strawberries, I also used greek yogurt. I could not believe this was frozen yogurt! My 16 month old son loved it too!

My husband went nuts over this. It is very similar to sorbet but richer with the yogurt. I didn't puree all the strawberry mixture so it had little bits of strawberry throughout that added to the texture. Warning: After it's made, don't leave it in the freezer too long ( more than 2-3 hours or it is nearly impossible to scoop.

This is fabulous! Put the mixture in the freezer for an hour; then transferred it to the electric ice cream maker; 25 minutes later, it was ready. It is like gelato. Don't skimp on the strawberries.

Amazing! I used a thawed bag of frozen strawberries and fat free yogurt. I used the rum and a splash of vanilla. I only used 1/2 cup of sugar and it was the perfect sweetness. So creamy even after it had been in the freezer 4 hours. Tastes decadent but so healthy.

Yum, this was really easy to put together and is very forgiving of substitutions, at least the ones I made. I used vodka for the rum, of which we had none. Also used 1tsp vanilla extract and vanilla Greek yogurt, and 1 tsp Rose's lime juice instead of lemon zest and juice. I increased the sugar to 1 cup, but that's too sweet. Next time I'll use the 3/4 cup called for in the recipe. A nice, refreshing summer treat!

Excellent! Followed the recipe exactly. Love the sweet with the tangy. Just as delicious the next day. I let it sit out for about 15 minutes as one reviewer suggested and it scooped perfectly! Will definitely make again.

This was yummy and sooo easy! I did not have Rum or lemon, but substituted Tequila and lime and it was very good. I also did not have greek yogurt but substituted with regular low fat vanilla (did not have time to strain it and it worked fine. The consistency of this was good and not too hard several hours after putting it in the freezer. Another plus about this dessert - it is not as fattening as regular ice cream!
