I made a double batch of this delicious soup for my fathers memorial. It was warm comfort and very easy to make. Everybody loved it and there were no leftovers!

I had a bunch of swiss chard in my garden so I made this. So quick and easy. I just added some thyme and red pepper flakes. Will do again.

Used kale instead of chard, very flavorful.

I made this soup last night exactly as the recipe was written except for using kale instead of Swiss chard and added some bow tie pasta for a little more hardiness. Served with garlic toast. I will be making this again. Thanks Paula

Made this soup for my family..it was fantastic..never used swiss chard before..wish I had added another bunch. I added carrots and put some thyme and a couple of bay leaves. I also used sweet and hot Italian sausage. It gave it a great "kick" to the flavor....will definitely make again...it's a winner!!!

I did not use sausage or any sort of meats, but still turned out the tasty soup. Loved it!

Great recipe made it at home and then tried out on my Wine Society members at a Potluck affair. When I looked up the soup was gone and people were asking for more. Made the recipe with no changes. Serves with a Pinot Noir from Paso Robles.
