This recipe is fantastic! I make it as often as possible, and tonight we're having guests. Guess what I'm making? This!! The only thing I do differently is I don't add the pepper. Milk can also be used a substitute for the cream, even though it's not as rich. Still, it comes out amazing every time. I always swear I'm at an Indian restaurant when I'm eating this. Thanks, Aarti!

This recipe is amazing...I've made it 4-5 times now and it is always a big hit. It is as good as - maybe better than - any Chicken Tikka Masala I've eaten in a restaurant. The ginger-garlic paste is the key, along with the spicy/creamy tomato curry sauce. Serve with some basmati rice and homemade naan and you're in business. Hint to those with "picky" eaters in the family: make extra chicken and grill it, but serve it without the sauce. I just call it "garlic chicken" and the kids gobble it up!

Delicious! Would be great around a fire in the fall, take to a pot luck, serve a large group of people(just double it. We did not add the fenugreek leaves,( not available. Added peas, 1 cup water, 1 serrano pepper. Super flavorful. 19month old son licked the bowl. Thanks Aarti,

This recipes is a favorite in our house. I've mad it a few times now and love it! I doubled the chicken since there is so much sauce. Other than that, i wouldn't change a thing. Thank you Aarti!! I love Indian food.

Delicious. Didn't have fresh tomatoes so I used canned tomatoes. Worked fine.

It was my first time making and trying Indian food. I made the tike masala with white rice. It came out pretty good. My husband loved it too! It was a lot of easy steps but it was fun making it!!! :

Easy but a lot of steps, left out fenugreek because I couldn't find it and I think I missed some of the depth of flavor because of that. Great recipe though, will make again when I can find the fenugreek!

yummy! my first from scratch indian recipe and even with substitutions it was a winner. i omitted the serrano peppers and the fenugreek and used halved grape tomatoes instead of diced romas. this was excellent and easy. so looking forward to making this again and other aarti recipes.. thanks aarti!
