Absolutely amazing! So refreshing and healthy! But packs a TON of beautiful flavor as well! We omitted the cream and it was just as fabulous. I would give it 10 stars if I could.

Excellent recipe! We have moved to an area that lacks any Indian restaurants, so I have been experimenting with some recipes so I can recreate authentic Indian dishes at home. This is a winner! I did find that I will use less water next time, as it was slightly watered down with the amount as listed. I might also increase the amount of spices for a more concentrated flavour. if possible, add the fenugreek leaves, as they do add to the authenticity of this dish.

Loved it! Unlike others I didn't think this was easy to make, but delish & so worth it. The levels of flavor were incredible, I've never even had this dish, so no comparison, but will definitely make it again. Flavor flavor flavor!!!!

This was my first attempt at curry that wasn't from a jar. The instructions were novice friendly, and before I knew it the pot plumed fragrant aromas of tomato curry filling the house and wetting the appetites of my family. The yogurt marinade was easy to prepare rendering perfectly tender and delicious chicken. The only modification I made was to increase portion size and again this recipe was easy to manipulate. Thank you Aarti. =

Another successful dish from Aarti. You've got to love how easy the dish is to make. I did add additional garham masala and tandoori chicken malasa (got this at my local Indian store, it really kicked the flavor up a notch. For a thicker sauce I added more tomato paste. Marinating the chicken over night made it melt in your mouth. Thanks for sharing your wonderful talent with us.

When I was in England for school I would often get this dish as a sandwich. You let it cool and then pile it in a bun. It is something like a lobster roll. This is as close as I've come to duplicating that flavor. Great recipe. Thank you. It brings back lots of great memories.

This recipe has fantastic flavors. I love the grilled/ broiled chicken because it has a little burnt taste to it and really improves the flavor of the whole dish. When making the garlic-ginger paste, I took out about 1.5 Tbls each of the garlic and ginger so i wouldnt have any leftover. I didnt have quick access to a grill so I broiled my chicken under a High broil for about 5 to 10 min on each side.
In my opinion the spice (concerning heat in this dish was great, not too hot at all for a white minnesotan. My wife liked it too but said it was a bit spicy- but that is a common occurance.

This dish is fairly easy, the only time consuming part was cutting the chicken thighs up into little peices. Defenitely dont skip this though, it is great not to have to try to chew through big chunks of chicken.

I will for sure make this again. It reminds me of a tomato bisque and would be great on a cold winter evening served with naan or appams or rice.

This recipe is easy to follow and tastes delicious! The charring of the chicken is an excellent touch.
