I made this lassi right after I saw the show. I used fresh frozen mango puree. I did not put chilli powder, just a pinch of cayenne pepper. It was delicious!

I wanted to try this recipe as soon as I got ahold of some limes and mango. Then it occurred to me to use some frozen peaches I had in the freezer for the mango and replaced the lime with a Meyer lemon. I left out the spices, added a dash of salt, and sweetened it with a bit of sugar. It was yummy.

I hope to see an Aarti cookbook soon!

This was delicious! I made this for my daughter and I to share. Since she doesn't like spice I dialed back the chili (but left some in and added some mint instead. So good! Wanted to run out and get more mangos right away to make more! So refreshing and sweet!

I have shamed my latin roots by not being a lover of mango. But I have to say, this lassi converted me. That mango and lime together marry SO amazingly well together and then the kick chili and cayenne. DELICIOUS! This is definitely going to be my summer drink. Thank you Aarti! Love you XOX

I loved it! It's a really easy way to get your calcium and fruit all at once in a less boring fashion than regular yogurt or smoothies. I adjusted the chile powder down a little and the balance was perfect for me. I also didn't use any sweetener as my mangoes were REALLY ripe and juicy, I added a little ice to keep it really cold as well.

I really enjoyed the flavor of this drink. I like that it tastes so intriguing on the tongue, with the fruit, citrus, and spices mixing together, and then you get a spicy zing from the cayenne when it hits the back of your mouth and your throat. I can certainly see how some people would not like this, but I found the flavors to work really well together, even if it was in an interesting way that I hadn't experienced before. I'd certainly recommend giving this recipe a try.

I have to say I thought from the ingredient list that this recipe was going to rock...I was greatly disappointed. It was awful. It was bitter and spicy and hardly tasted like mangoes. I love lime and some spice but it was way over board.... other half and daughter were disapponted as well...we ended up dumping it.

Didn't like it. I got a burst of chile powder and pepper and I followed the directions. I like it more sweet than spicy.
