I make this all the time. People love it. 5 minutes is way to long. Like the other person, microwave 1 min. Then at 30 second intervals. The chocolate can burn if you cook it too long. Also, I get more than 4 servings. I cut it into 3/4 to 1 inch pieces. I have also been thinking of adding coconut instead of the nuts for a change. I give it as gifts at Christmas time and put the pieces in holiday bon bon papers. Another easy candy is to melt a bag of chocolate chips and add a bag of crushed frito's. Then spoon them into the bon bon papers. It is quick, easy, and cheap.

This was delicious! My husband and I loved it! It was so quick and easy and it didn't make a batch that was too big. Plus, it cost us around $7.00 to make. I did not butter the parchment and added a few extra nuts (walnuts. It was perfect!

I always loved my mother's fudge and when she showed me how to make it, I couldn't believe how easy it was. It is just like this only made on the stove in a pot. Make sure you use sweetened condensed milk and not evaporated milk. Everyone has always loved this fudge. I give it away at Christmas along with revel bars (soooo yummy and cookies.

I have been making this fudge for years, only without nuts. It is a no fail and everyone loves it. I micro it but not for 5 minutes. No wonder the milk boils over. I micro 1 minute and stir. If chips are not melted, I micro for additional 30 seconds, stirring and repeating until smooth, then add vanilla. Most of my gang do not care for nuts in the fudge, however, this cook loves nuts and will have to try a batch. Yum!

I have been making this fudge for years, but I make it in a sauce pan on the stove top, simmering & stirring until the chips melt & it is a smooth consistancy, then I stir in the vanilla & nuts. No boiling over when you do it that way! I then spread it in a wax paper lined pan (for an easy and clean removal & chill.

This recipe was very easy and very tasty. The other review mentioned that the milk could boil over in the microwave which was a very helpful tip. I watched the bowl and sure enough about half way through it was ready to boil over so I took it out and stirred it a little which allowed it to cook the rest of the time in the microwave. Yummy!!

I followed instructions given in the recipe and ended up with a lot of the hot milk on the paper towel I placed over the bowl (good thing I did plus more under and around the bowl. I think there are some missing instructions in this recipe: Stir the chocolate pieces with the condensed milk before microwaving; microwave about 3 minutes on high and look at the mixture to see if it has melted all chocolate, and if so, take out and follow recipe instructions; if not, continue microwaving for another 1 or 2 minutes. Other than having to clean the microwave mess, the fudge turned out okay after I added more condensed milk.
