    Absolutely delicious. I use Splenda for the sugar ingredient and the dessert is wonderful.

    I absoutley love this dessert.It was so easy to make I substituted Vanilla extract for Anise ( I read online I couldI substituted carnation milk and a little vanilla extract in place of the heavy cream . It was light ,tasty dessert.

    Anise is not everone's favorite with Pears.May I suggest a flavour of Cloves with just 2 with the Cinnamon stick{s}.If fragile,strain through a cheese cloth found in the Kitchen Area of a Kitchen Supplies for making certain all Spices stay out at End but Flavour prevails.This could be a haute cuisine dessert with a few changes.
