I made this tonight and did not enjoy, the flavors were bland. Made exactly as written.

I loved the sauce - delicious. However, I cooked the noodles too long, and the pork. Take the pork off the stove as soon as it's no longer pink! And don't try to remove all fat - some fat helps.

Fantastic! I cut down on the oil and everything still came out great! I used bone-in chops and cut the meat out, which I think resulted in more flavorful pork. This is one I'd make again!

A Keeper! I had green jalapenos (large so only used 1. It wasn't as spicy as we hoped so we used sriracha like someone else suggested. Also added red pepper for color as someone else suggested. The cilantro sauce tasted more like lime to us than cilantro, but could imagine someone that doesn't like cilantro not liking it at all. Definitely will be making this again.

Really enjoyed this. Used chicken, as that was what I had on hand. I love cilantro, hubby doesn't, and he didn't complain about the cilantro. There are enough other flavors that I did not feel that the cilantro overpowered in the sauce. When I tasted the sauce raw, I thought it was spicy, but the spice lessened while cooking. My six year old tasted it and asked me to make it again so she could have some. I will make it again.

Awesome, but you REALLY have to enjoy cilantro.

OMG this is awesome! I do not eat meat- much less pork, but this is awesome! We used red bell pepper like one of you suggested and that was fantastic! Wouldn't want it without it! It needs the contrast, but it adds a lot of flavor. Only thing we'll do different is add more veggies in place of some of the rice noodles as both of us are diabetic. Agree with someone else that if too much pasta us used, there won't be enough sauce! The sauce is super yummy- used all but bout 2 tablespoons...

this is so delicious. Tastes like something you'd actually find at a restaurant. I must admit to one substitution- I used fresh pasta noodles (that you find in the refrigerated section. they have a hint of sweetness that work so well with this dish. I now make the sauce in batches and freeze because it's so good.

I wouldn't blame the recipe for how this dish turned out, but I had a lot of trouble with it straight from the beginning. I looked everywhere in the store for the wide Thai rice noodles and couldn't finde any, so I used Vermacelli thai rice noodles instead, which turned to mush and broke apart during the stirring so it was more like regular rice than noodles. I hate the taste of fish sauce so I omitted it, and I couldn't find red jalepenos so i used green ones. I was hoping for a little more spice and in my opinion there wasn't enough balance to the cilantro. Maybe I'll modify this and try it again
