Way too much salt, in the roast potatoes my suggestion use your judgement when it comes to spices.

I like Aaron, but sorry, this is not Chicken and dumplings. It's just a casserole. Not a bad dish, mind you, but please don't call it Chicken and Dumplings. The real dish is be a hearty Chicken soup.

I watched the episode and couldn't wait to make this one. I am like several of the reviewers prior and thought the spice was a bit off. I followed my instinct about the red pepper flakes and added less, but the salt was waaaaaaaaaaaay too much! I think maybe it should have been teaspoons instead of tablespoons. I will try it again and adjust the salt as well as the red pepper flakes. I think that would make it perfect. It had great flavor otherwise. If not for those two things, I would give it 5 stars.

1st time I made this, I doubled it and there were only 2 small servings left for lunch. When I was thinking about what to make next night, everyone hands-down, asked me to make this again! I now have this down so that I feed everyone, and have a few lunch servings left. I use 3 bags gnochhi, (2 8oz braids of smoked mozz, (5 14oz cans tomatoes (LOVE fire-roasted, 3 thick boneless chicken breasts sprinkled with seasonings and microwaved 12-15 minutes, about 4 tablespoons garlic. 6-8 'shakes' of red pepper. As for salt and pepper, I season by hand as I would most dishes. (You can always add more!. This has a great spicy taste even without so much red pepper. With these measurements, I get close to a TRIPLE batch without spending so much money on cheese and chicken. BTW, this all fits nicely in a 9x13 pan.

This recipe is way TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Spicy! I couldn't eat it. I will definitely skip the red pepper flakes next time and drastically reduce the garlic to like 1 tsp that is if I even bother to cook it again. It did have good flavor outside of being hot and too garlicy. I guess I should've read the reviews before i cooked this recipe. That would've helped a lot as I see a lot of the same comments!

Our family LOVES this recipe. I skipped the red pepper and lowered the salt. I also added 1/2 onion sauteed with the garlic etc. Fire roasted tomatos do the trick. This is a winner!!!

I saw this episode too and was excited to make it. Especially because I love gnocchi. It was an easy recipe and I loved it. However, I also wish I had read the reviews. Against my better judgement, I put in the exact amounts of Kosher salt and red pepper. It was too salty and way TOOOOO spicy!! The dish was very good but, I couldn't finish it. My husband is Mexican and I cook spicy all the time, but this was way toooo much.....

I saw the episode and could not wait to prepare. However, I am the type who follows a receipe to the letter, and I should have followed my gut feeling. The amounts of salt, pepper, and red pepper was too much. By the way, I did use Kosher salt, so that was not the issue. My kids would not finish, and they are used to spicy food. I'm on the fence on whether I will make again. With the right amounts of seasoning, it has potential. I still love Aaron.

I made this for dinner yesterday and it turned out AWESOME! I cut back on the salt and red pepper to adjust to my taste and I also added one 14.5 oz can of fire roasted diced tomatoes along with a 14.5 oz can of diced tomatoes because that's what was in my pantry. This recipe is so easy to make and tastes GREAT! It's my first time cooking with gnocchi and I really like it! Another must try from Big Daddy's House!
