Gluten and Lactose Free revision. I loved this recipe but revised for dietary restrictions. I subsituted Lactaid milk and for the flour I used 1/3 c. rice flour, 1/4 c. Tapioca starch, 1/8 c. cornstarch and 1/2 tsp of xanthum gum. Mmmm. Good. Also, I like lemon so I substituted 2 tsp of lemon juice along with 1 tsp of the vanilla for a truly tasty delight. After baking, I topped off with lemon juice and powdered sugar and was in absolute heaven. Mmmm good!

This recipe was easy to follow and made the best looking dutch baby pancake. It actually fed four and all four loved it. The dusting of powdered sugar and fresh lemon juice really helped enhanced it. I like the idea of trying this in muffin tins and will try that next.

I love Dutch Baby pancakes, this recipe is really good. I used a large cast iron skillet and waited a few minutes before I put it in the oven with butter. If you put it in right away you run the risk of your butter burning. I also substituted imitation almond for the vanilla extract. My husband is allergic to almonds, I love them; imitation almond does not have almond in it, but still has a similar flavoring. My Dutch Baby cooked in 20 minutes. When I pulled it out, I put a pat of butter in the middle and let it melt. Squeezed on some fresh lemon juice, dusted a bit of powered sugar and served with blueberry syrup. I wish my stomach was bigger because I want to eat more!

Typically love your recipes, but this one was only okay. There was no "Wow" factor. My kids said they prefer regular pancakes.

This is so easy to make! And the Dutch baby looks so cute! It has great and fun texture too. It only took 3 mins to make, cannot be easier.
I paired it with blueberry sauce, it goes beautifully with the Dutch baby.

My family liked this...there was nothing left...my teenagers and hubby said they would like some sort of syrup with it instead of just fruit. Love your recipes!
