In case the person with the sugar concern in the sauce reads this again use a natural food to cut the acid in the tomatoes....grated carrots. I do that all the time.

This recipe is just great and freezes well...if you make extra or have leftovers

This pasta is amazing! My husband and I loved it. The homemade sauce and different meats really add a special touch. I used linguine rather than spaghetti because I like the thicker noodles.

This was very good. The sauce is lighter than I was expecting, but different in a good way. I really enjoyed the different meats. The ingredients are simple, so it is easy to put together without making any special trips to the store. It makes enough for two dinners. I was able to freeze one for later, very convenient for this pregnant Momma.

Delicious! I saw this on the TV and had to try it along with the cheddar biscuits. I made this as a side dish for Easter and brought home an empty pan. What wasn't eaten at the dinner folks wanted to take home. My first thought was cheddar cheese and Monteray Jack on spaghetti? After tasting, it is a great combo. I made another batch of the meat sauce and used it as a salad topper since I'm on a low carb diet. Instead of spaghetti, I spooned the meat mixture on a bed of shredded lettuce and grated a little parmesan over the top. Instead of a taco salad it became my low carb Italian salad, very good and filling. Thanks for the recipe, I got lot's of compliments, and of course I gave the credit to you and the Ladies With Love.

Coming from a family of seven VERY picky eaters, this is definitely a keeper! My family loved it and my 11 year old wanted thirds. The only thing I did different was ground mild Italian sausage because I had it on hand. I would've added mushrooms but not all my picky eaters like them so this is perfect the way it is!

This was absolutely delish! I did adjust seasoning as the sauce cooked to my liking. My huz felt this was the BEST spaghetti I've ever made; an entire pan gone in less than 3 hours and only 4 adults were there!

To Kimber157 - Thank you for letting me know about the sugar in with tomatoes. Where I worked for years, the cooks would put sugar in the spaghetti sauce and I could taste it. I didn't like the taste at all. I don't really taste the sugar it in the "processed sauces" . Maybe the cooks in the kitchen added to the sauces at work. I have lost 160 pounds and watch how I eat and what I eat. Trying to make sure to make or cook my food at home. So, now, my taste buds are more sensitive because I have trained myself to enjoy the natural flavors of fresh fruit and vegetables along with a small taste of meat at times.

I actually thought adding sugar to tomato sauces was a southern thing -- from the south, not Italy. I have stopped going to my favorite pizza place because I can now taste the sugar in the pizza sauce. Bummer! They actually hand make pizza's and other items.

    Thanks again Kimber157!
