Great recipe! Very easy and a great "make ahead" recipe. I made it in the morning and popped it in the oven when my company got here. It was perfect! I added a potato to mine too and a little white wine. I also sprinkled some paprika over the top of the crust for color. Very good.

This was my first time making chicken pot pie and I am so glad I chose this recipe! I did add extra seasoning as the vegetable mixture was thickening- I also sauteed some potatoes and onions before adding the frozen vegetables, so that the filling was a bit more hardy. I would definitely let the vegetable mixture thicken for longer than 5 minutes, before adding the cream. I also transferred everything to a 9 inch glass pan before baking because I don't have a cast iron skillet. Such a comforting, convenient meal. Enjoy!

Great flavor! I ended up transferring the mix to a glass baking dish and used crescent roll dough for the top - turned out great!

Delicious! I used chicken breast cut into small pieces and cooked as directed. Everyone raved and even had guests ask to take some home. Will definitely make again.

This was delicious!! So much better than what i envision "pot pie" to be. I added a little bit of white wine to the chicken broth since the can didn't quite make a full 2 cups. I also used regular onions instead of the frozen pearl onions. I will definitely make this again!

Definitely easy, especially as I used leftover chicken from a roast 2 nights before--I still used the spices from the recipe to flavor the sauce. I also added a tablespoon of butter and a large splash of white wine and simmered everything on the stovetop for 15 minutes then served my "creamy chicken stew" over biscuits that I baked since I forgot to buy a pie crust! It was delicious! The family raved about it, and I loved it, too! Quick, easy, warm and satisfying!

Can I say Yummy! This was tastebud and tummy good! It was so easy in prep, cooking and clean-up. I used milk instead of cream because it is what I had. It probably would of been thicker but it didn't change the yummy factor.

DELISH!!! Used left over turkey from Thanksgiving and was a HUGE hit with the hubby. Also, I diced up a potato and boiled until fork tender and added it, and used a regular yellow onion diced since that's what I had on hand. Best pot pie I've ever had!

Oops!! Quick update to my review. I just noticed that the recipe doesn't list a time to let the sauce thicken. So I revise my recommendation to, "Just be patient when waiting for the sauce to thicken. When you think it's there, let it go 5 more minutes. The results will be worth it!"

Super tasty and easy! What could be better? To make it even easier I used a rotisserie chicken and cubed it up. Highly recommended.
