Incredible! I love to saturate my husband with vegetables and this recipe was up for the job. We loved it and love it. I make about once a month, and we enjoy the flavors with the paste being the best part. I can eat a ton and not feel bloated or add an ounce on my scale!!

I loved this recipe. Although, some of the ingredients were impossible for me to find, I just used my cooking skills and exchanged some of the impossible to find ingredients with some that I enjoy.

Many have stated that they did not try this recipe with the lettuce because they thought it was strange but I can assure you the recipe tasted GREAT with the lettuce.

I also found that this recipe was indeed a short cooked meal. I'm not sure where others found problems with the 30 minute part but I succeeded just fine. Just a tip, cut EVERYTHING up before you begin any cooking.

The paste is the best part and I will definitely be making the paste again with different dishes.

Ok time to prep >30min(not to mention I didn't have much of the spices in my pantry but once I got it together it went rather quickly, and it tasted great. The lettuce was great and I am not usually a fan of iceburg. My son would have liked the sauce to be a bit thicker though. Great meal for the weekend not a quick 30 min meal for the week.
oh still have no idea whatis a Fresno chilli used a different variety.

I tried this dish because it looked amazing on the show and was looking for a healthier version of takeout. It did take a little longer than 30 minutes to make but I chaulk that up to me getting distracted by dogs and making sure I did everthing right (I never use recipes when I cook. I loved this dish, the flavor of the paste was awesome. I didn't serve it over iceburg lettuce because I thought it would taste weird, so I made Thai rice noodles and tossed it in with everything else. Next time I make this I might try it with the lettuce, or green cabbage because it holds up more. Definately worth trying!

I love Thai food and was excited to make this after seeing the show, but disappointed with the result. It was OK, and although the ingredients seemed like it should taste like Thai food, to me it really didn't. The cumin seemed to dominate the other flavors. Agree with the other reviewers that with the noodles, this dish took much longer than 30 minutes. It took my husband and I over 45 minutes.

What an awesome meal! The flavors were great! The prep work was a little tedious and it did take me longer than 30 minutes to prepare, but it was well worth it. I couldn't find Lemongrass in the market so I subbed lemon peel which worked out fine. Plus, I didn't have iceburg lettuce so I used Arugula. That was awesome too. The peppery taste of the Arugula was perfect with the spices of the paste. Made it with the Pesto noodles. My husband and I couldn't get enough of it.

Although the dish had good flavors and turned out pretty much as demonstrated on the show, it is definitely NOT a 30-minute meal. Don't be fooled into thinking this can be a quick weeknight dinner. The number of ingredients, steps, and preparation made it more like a two-hour meal for me. Granted, making a recipe for the first time and making sure you have ingredients within reach can be challenging, but I don't think this one could ever be a 30-minute meal unless you made the paste and pesto in advance. I made the noodles with the chicken stir fry. Also, I would recommend green cabbage instead of lettuce if you want to retain a good crunch. The lettuce wilted and wasn't very appealing mid-meal.

Made this last night after seeing it on the show in the morning. It is a light, low-cal dish and was pretty tasty. I also made the pesto rice noodles with it. I added crushed cashews (I would have liked peanuts, but didn't have them. At the table I added some garlic/chili paste. It was a decent Thai flavored dish. My family liked it. Give it a try.
