This recipe was a hit really easy to make! Mine came out just like the picture. I did however add less ginger and 1/2 tsb maybe even less it was just too strong. Otherwise great and simple dessert!

These are great desert, especially when served with just a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The ginger and orange work great together.

These were really easy and cheap. My husband and kids ate just 1 and then grabbed some leftover strawberry shortcake. I don't think they liked the ginger. However, I thought they were a great little treat., but I really love ginger. So....I will keep this idea and just change the filling to maybe strawberries and cream or cinnamon and cream. I think it was a great idea from Melissa.

They're a little more than mediocre but they do serve the purpose of giving us a sweet treat after a great meal. Served them with my own recipe for orange chicken and egg drop soup.

*HEADS UP: for those who have never used fresh ginger, it's really strong. So if you're not a huge fan of ginger, I suggest using 1/2 - 1 teaspoon of fresh ginger instead. Also, cinnamon is a really strong spice and should be used as an undertone. Try 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon instead! Hope this helps! =

I served these on the side of wonton soup. Next time I will skip the cinnamon and possibly the fresh ginger too. The cream cheese & orange marmalade are great by themselves with a pinch of salt.

These were a huge hit!! I prepared the filling in the morning and made them later at night for desert. Very easy and no mess at all! The only change I would make is to double for receipe for the filling because I didnt get quite 12. A definite do again !!

    Very Tasty - Very Fun
I also read the reviews and followed others suggestion to refrigerate the filling. I refrigerated for about a half hour before assembling. It was excellent. I made another batch, which was an impromptu decision to share with a neighbor who was having guests and they reported it was a hit! Very very easy and not at all messy if you refrigerate. (Thanks chefLola-d. My 6 yr old granddaughter helped with the filling for that second batch, as she had eagerly watched the first go round. I always try to follow the recipe as written first so now I can hardly wait to experiment with some variations.
