This was SO easy to make! It was delicious. We had it with grilled salmon and the sauce was also delicious on the salmon and wonderful with the cold leftover salmon the next day.

I, too, was delighted by the show with Carla, what a joyful, light way of being she has! Was glad to learn of this recipe and am using it for Easter dinner, as a change from the usual hollandaise sauce, and considerably easier to make and clean up from afterward. I used Grey Poupon along with the spicy brown mustard for an extra depth of flavor. Thank you!

Loved the tangy taste this recipe brings to asparagus. Great side dish!

Asparagus is a big favorite in my home. We usually sauteed asparagus in olive oil and butter and add salt and pepper and grated Locatelli cheese. This was a lovely alternate. I was happy to find an additional recipe that everyone loved!!

I loved this sauce! Didn't have any heavy cream so I made it with half and half and thickened it with cornstarch. Also, I love broiled asparagus, so I cooked them this way and put the sauce on top when serving. I bet this would be good over new potatoes too!

This was an awesome recipe. I had never actually even cooked asparagus much less prepare one that looked and tasted great. All my family for Easter dinner was so impressed. It actually nearly out shined the ham. There was definitely no leftovers and will be on my table a lot more in the future. Those toasted almonds were amazing. Thanks Paula. My daughter said to say thanks too. She calls you her second grandma. We also made your oven roasted potatoes with rosemary and garlic. Needless to say no one left my house hungry!

OMG! I was getting so many dishes ready at the same time, that this was a blessing to have a simple, quick vegetable ready in minutes. It was delicious! Thank you so much!
