This recipe is probably my favorite. I love the orange flavor from the zest. Next time I would omit the glaze or just make a ganache to drizzle over. The glaze added nothing to an already delicious bread.

i used this recipe , it makes a moist and very fluffy bread , but i don't know why the banana gave a sour taste, i used a cup as per the recipe, as for the glaze it needs butter, i wouldn't repeat it.

This recipe was ok, I did not care for the taste of the spices and chocolate together like I thought I would.

This is the best chocolate chip banana bread recipe I've made. I tripled the recipe and used a 13 x 9 inch cake pan instead of a loaf pan. It made the top crispy. My daughter got into it before I could do the glaze, but it really doesn't need it. I will do it next time though, because I am sure it will put it over the top. It really is an awesome bread recipe. I might try the praline liquor instead of the vanilla with it too as another reviewer did. That sounds yummy.

I modified a bit and loved it. Used half whole wheat flour, no choc chips, no glaze, no cinnamon, nutmeg or zest. I wanted to use as a base for banana bread and like that the recipe had yogurt in it. I substituted Praline liquor for the vanilla (soooo good and added a half dozen roasted and finely chopped figs I needed to use up. So good. I keep sneaking bites all day!

    "Delicious" and "Sweetness"
I actually doubled this recipe since I had four half gone banana's=2 cups banana's
I like more than less and share with friends, family, and co workers. Mt second pie was topped with a Chunky Peanut Butter Glaze and Cacao 100%.

    Yummy Five Stars

This bread was very easy to make, and very tasty too. I made it without the glaze and it was still amazing! When you test the bread, the toothpick comes out with a few crumbs, but that's okay. I think it made the banana bread a little moister, and if I had left it in longer, it probably would have gotten overcooked on the outside. I'm definitely adding this to my recipes!

This cooks best in a mini muffin pan. It has that crispy outside with moist inside for 50 min in my convection oven. Everyone loves them when I make it and it's always gone. That's without the glaze.
