I made this in my bread machine (quick bread setting last night and it turned out fantastic! Some of the chocolate chips sank to the bottom and turned into a fudgy bottom crust that made the glaze completely unnecessary. It got rave reviews from my husband, so I'll definitely make it again.

This was a nice change of pace from plain old banana bread. It came out really moist and delicious. I loved the addition of the orange, it gave the bread a nice undertone. I used mini chocolate chips rather than the regular ones thinking it would make it easier to slice and they also go throughout the whole loaf. I may cut back on them just a bit next time I make it. I had no problems getting the loaf out of the pan after only ten minutes. I just used sprayed parchment paper on the bottom. I did not use the glaze, just thought it would be too much for my taste, but I did sprinkle the top before baking with raw sugar that ended up giving it a great texture when you bite into it.

Love this! Very easy to make! Made a few changes: instead of 1 C of chocolate chips AND the chocolate glaze, I did 1/2 C of chocolate chips, 1/2 C of oats, and sprinkled some brown sugar on top, which gave it a sweet, crispy coat on top! SO GOOD! Gave it 4 stars cause trust me, you're gonna have a chocolate overload if you keep all that chocolate...

My sisiter alwasys buys the chocolate chip banana bread from Starbucks, so I made this for her birthday. She love love loved it. I didn't add the orange zest though, I felt there would be too much goin on in the bread, also I bought a bottle of chocolate glaze that I think Duncan HInes makes, since I was short on time. But coming back tot he banana bread itself. *Sigh* It was pure heaven.

Loved this! We like orange flavor so I doubled the zest. I also cut back the sugar by 1/2 cup and didn't miss it all all due to the sweetness of the chips and glaze. No trouble getting it out of the pan, but I did use Pam baking spray. Will make this again and again and again...........

This is a fantastic banana bread. It is really easy to make & it comes out super moist. I would also suggest using parchment paper before baking, as others have mentioned. I have been asked to make this again already for this week. You won't be disappointed if you try it!!!

OMG. I baked it just one time and now everyone wants the recipe.
It is moist, tasty, and melt in your mouth delicious. The orange zest gives it that extra zing. It is awsome! A definite must try!!

This was alright, nice and moist but I thought there were too many flavors going on with the spices, banana, and chocolate.

This banana bread is very flavorful. The orange peel gives it such a nice hint of orange, not to over powering. Will make again.
