I read all the reviews and made some adjustments before I made my crunchy Caramel Popcorn. I don't like butter ( I know, I'm picky so I left it out. Also, instead of the 2 cups of caramel I used 1 cup and used chopped almonds instead of peanuts. After those changes, I followed the recipe stated and after cooking for 20 minutes I let the caramel popcorn cool for 5 to 7 minutes. It was Delicious!!! Thanks Aaron, this one is a keeper!!!!

I totally agree with sammykat5. I tried this, but used 2 bags of popcorn & was a oooey gooey mess. When Aaron made it it was nice & crunchy & I couldn't wait to make it. Once I pour the hot caramel sauce over popcorn, the popcorn deflated. Sorry Aaron...I still love you!

Before I make a receipe I generally read the reviews. There was only one review out here at the time. The review said the popcorn was sticky. Well, I made the popcorn today using almonds instead of peanuts. I thought this receipe was good, but it was sticky. I thought maybe the person should have used more popcorn to counter the stickiness. So as I cooked the sauce and looked at the one bag of popcorn, I knew I had more sauce then popcorn. I used two bags of popcorn and the popcorn still was sticky. It has great favor, but would be better if it wasn't as sticky.

This recipe was AWESOME!! I followed the recipe the way that Aaron demonstrated on his program, right down to putting parchment paper down on my cookie sheets. (The printed recipe said to just spray the pan, but Aaron made mention that he used the paper due to difficulty with cleaning. The only change that I would make next time would be to spray the paper with cooking spray as it did still stick a little. I made my first batch just like it says and then made another batch where I kicked it up another notch....I did half Caramel sauce and half Chocolate Fudge sauce. Both batches came out very delicious. Thanks so much for showing this recipe. I have enjoyed your show ever since you won The Next Food Network Star and personally think that you have been the best one to win so far

Followed this recipe exactly and once it came out of the oven, I let it cool for over an hour. It never firmed up, and it stayed sticky, chewy popcorn. Not a favorite!
