This was fabulous. My sister made them for our Cinco party and I really was not looking forward to them, just from reading the recipe. THEY WERE AMAZING !!

I cooked this dish last night, and to be honest I wasn't impressed. I did substitute the peppers for poblano peppers. I'm sure that changed the taste somewhat, but over all I want give it a repeat.

OMG this was amazing. We did not have the chilies so I used the mini bell red, yellow pepper and red fresco chilies as they are mild. it word out great.. Love the combo of soy sauce & lime juice .. Who knew it be so wonderful. We put the cucumbers in a salad .. trust me nothing goes to waste... going to do again this week.... 3rd time. Going to do for a wine dinner party too!

I thought soy sauce was a little over powering.
For you adventurous cooks , prepare stuffing WITHOUT shrimp.
    and DO NOT pre-fry chiles.
Prepare chiles per recipe (slit and clean , stuff with mixture , add RAW shrimp , wrap with BACON , then fry !!!
    Soy sauce optional
    Enjoy

This was such an interesting twist on the traditional guerro you get at the taco stand. I loved how quickly it came together. I really impressed my husband with this dish. Thanks Marcela!
