I have never used puff pastry before and this recipe was much simpler than I would have anticipated. I don't think my puff pastry sheets were the same size as used by the chef so I had some uneven size pockets, but that's ok, and I think mine cooked a little quick as they were a bit on the brown side (should have been paying a little closer attention I guess. I thought the pears were a little too mild...would try again with a tart apple instead.

Five stars for ease and taste. I love Anne's show but can't find it anymore. Where did she go?? What day and time? She is very easy to watch and the recipes are great and easy to prepare.

These are wonderful. Directions are succinct and easy and I very much enjoy your show. Your PetiFours are amazing. With so many fans experiencing success and delight with your recipes, you have to assume the person who repeatedly fails to achieve good results may have made substitutions, measured improperly, misread or misunderstood the recipe, or used sub-par equipment. Easier to blame you.

In any event, bravo to you, Anne, and to your wonderful philosophy of "Dessert First".

I've only seen her show once and this was the recipe she prepared. It was delicious. I served on Mother's Day and my family loved them. Thanks for a great recipe

I love this recipe. Love the dried cherries with the apples. Quick go to when I don't feel like making a pie. By the way this is a forum for rating recipes, not to bad mouth a chef. If you don't like her style then move on to another show, there are plenty on Food Network.
