With a few tweaks to the recipe, we devoured it! While I didn't have any ginger, I think it would add good flavor, so I'll use it next time. This time I doubled the garlic, added red pepper flakes to the meat marinade, and added Sriracha sauce to the nearly finished dish. It was great, and I'll replicate this same recipe again, but add a little ginger to it next time.

AWESOME! This was so easy & so delicious. We did it as a 'beef and broccoli'. i didn't do the tomatoes or onions and i doubled everything else. it was sooooo good. Both of my picky boys loved it, as did I. This is for sure my "go to" beef/broccoli recipe from now on! Thanks for sharing this delicious recipe.

I made this last night and was very disappointed. I followed the recipe and used only fresh herbs and it was still very bland. The meat was excellent, but that was it. I even added red pepper to give it some kick, but that really do it, either. I have made far better Chinese dishes than this one. I won't be making it again.

This was excellent! I omitted the tomatoes. Next time I would use more ginger and more garlic.I might consider adding red bell pepper, sliced carrots or mushrooms. Or I think you could substitute green bell pepper for the broccoli. This was by far the best chinese recipe I've ever tried. Thank you Food Network magazine!

Very tasty. I did not use broccoli and used asparagus and little sweet peppers in all the colors instead. Changed up the tomatoes for little grape tomatoes. I also added a little siracha hot sauce at the end since I like spicy and garnished with some fresh cilantro. Delish!

This was great! I chose not to use the tomatoes, and I added red pepper flakes when I added the garlic for some heat and depth of flavor. I think next time I'll include half of the garlic in the meat marinade as well and maybe add some red bell peppers for an extra veggie.

This tasted really healthy! However, it was a bit bland for my liking. I suggest adding more oyster sauce while stir frying the beef. A tablespoon will do. I'm going to try adding some carrots the next time I make this dish.

This was really yummy! I didn't have any oyster sauce so I used the juice from a can of clams I had in the cupboard. Also used olive instead of peanut oil. Still tasted awesome. Great base recipe to add different veggies and experiment with. I'm definately going to make it again.

OMG, this was so good, better than any and I say any restaurant I have eaten at. The only change and not really a change is, we used our own beef's flank steak. I will always make it; still in heaven!!

This was a great recipe. I added carrots, and used about 1/2 teaspoon of ground ginger in place of the fresh. I also used olive oil in place of peanut oil. My family loved it! I may add bell peppers next time to add more flavors and colors.
