    These tasted great, but were very flat. They weren't dense, just flat and not like a fluffy biscuit. I may try to add additional baking soda next time, or I'll just use Paula Deen's recipe and add lemon and thyme.

    This was the first time I made biscuits from scratch and they were a HUGE success! Only thing I would do differently would be to make them bigger :

    We made these for our holiday open house and they were a huge success, especially with the thyme/dried tomato compound butter that my daughter made. Very easy and delicious.

    Finally - I made a biscuit that was light and delicious, lemony, and perfect with fish. Can't wait to have the leftovers with my eggs! Easy, sinful and scrumptious.
