I made this the other night for my family. It was so quick, easy and delicious. Even my health conscience son loved it. It is a do again recipe. I sliced the pitas in half before putting them in the oven with the cheese. It made them easy to fold...we ate them like tacos. Such a quick and easy dinner on a summer night! Thanks!

This recipe was awesome, my granddaughter and I went to work on this one. I did a few changes because of my allergies, for the dressing I did not use the anchovy filets or the black pepper. but i did use a dash of cayenne pepper. For the Pita, I could not use the tomatoes or chicken. I replaced the chicken with turkey and it was just as good. I also added turkey bacon bits this was a great recipe. I must say I sure do wish FN would do a deviation of each recipe that uses chicken by indicating if the recipe will taste just as well if done with turkey.... much love to all the chefs on FN again wonderful recipe awesome.

Another wonderful recipe that my whole family loved! And I felt like it was pretty healthy. It was quick and easy to prepare, my husband said twice that he loved the dressing. I did double everyting for the six of us, but did have quit a bit of dressing left over, which I'll make sure we use. I never did tell my family that there were 7 little minced anchovies in the dressing (my little secret for now. Interesting how no body even knew!
    * I did use a brand of anchovy fillets that are supposed to be worth the cost (about $4.40 per jarcalled TALATTA from Italy, maybe thats why it was so good.

This was great - quick, easy, tasty! It's a little tricky to eat without the topping falling all over the place. I'm going to try and cut the tomatoes and chicken a bit smaller next time. You must try it though, it's wonderful!

We loved this recipe! I was finally able to get my boys to eat a salad WITHOUT ranch dressing on it! My youngest actually was looking for more dressing. Such an easy recipe and a great way to use leftovers. A round of "guess the ingredients" for the dressing suprised both boys over the anchovies. Nice change after the heaviness of the holidays. Definitely making again.

I didn't have anchovies or chicken- still very filling. it was a little messy but very good. It is really garlicky too, which I like. If you don't like so much garlic I would say use 1 clove. Makes a really tasty quick healthy lunch!

Very quick and easy meal. I loved it! The dressing did not turn out as creamy as I am used to but I did leave out the anchovies. I used whole wheat pita bread. The fontina cheese is very creamy. I might serve the salad in a bowl next time and cut the pita into triangles and serve on the side for a little less mess. But I know this recipe tastes best with all the flavors combined into one bite. My pita was soft enough to fold it slightly. Will make again. Thanks Paula!
