I made this without the bread ... I liked the seasoning and the cilantro-lime mayo and continue to use it with other kinds of fish.

Awesome. I used olive oil instead of butter. Blackening spice made enough for 5 filets.
Tase of mango Salsa is AWESOME!!!!

i really liked the concept of the recipe, but i modified it quite a bit. i made a healthier version (skipped the butter, applied seasonings to the fish then i broiled it on a piece of tin foil so i didn't have to clean a pan. i also kicked up the flavor in the mayo by blending in twice as much cilantro, a couple cloves of roasted garlic, sriracha sauce (instead of pepper, and some red onion.

Fish was salty, was it suppose to be unsalted butter? Should be referenced. Salsa was good but overall, fish was salty.

This recipe is the BOMB! Couldn't get enough, had it 4 times in one week just to use up all the mango salsa and could still eat more. Not too heavy on the butter either, as per usual Paula, though I skipped buttering the rolls after the first time and just toasted them and I didn't notice any major difference, the flavors all mix together perfectly. YUM!

This recipe was great, the blackened season was better than the ones you buy in the store. I did not make sandwiches but I did make the mango salsa as well. I made the blackened tilapia with a white shrimp sauce this was so good fish was good without sauce but the sauce put it over the top. The blackened seasoning is a keeper & this recipe. Thanks again for such a great recipe.

Okay, the salsa is off the hook. The Cilantro-lime Mayonnaise is banging and the Tilapia was flying out the pan right into my hands and right into my mouth with the quickness!
Paula girl you out did yourself. Keep them coming girl!!
