Aweeeeeesome!! You really can't go wrong with this dish. I couldn't find pomegranate molasses so I bought a 16 oz bottle of "pom" juice and reduced it down to a syrup (use the whole 16 oz. I steamed the wings for 10 mins to release the excess fat (see Alton browns recipe then dried them and rubbed them in the spice mixture and let them sit for an hour in the fridge on a cooling rack over paper towels. Then cooked them just as the recipe said. Well- I couldn't find cardamom seeds so I used powder but I couldn't tell the difference. The sauce was amazing...note to self...make 2 batches next time!! No need for dipping sauce! I served them with spiced sweet potato fries and my husband was begging for seconds and thirds. Thankyou Aarti!

WONDERFUL recipe. The pomegranate molasses may be on the tart side for you (it probably depends on how much sugar the manufacturer/you added when making it. We just added a little honey and it was perfect. The rest of the balance of spices and flavors were absolutely perfect. We did a double batch, so we had to extend our cooking time due to having 2 trays (they went for about 55 minutes; we just waited until the skin was really bubbling away.

I found this recipe on her blog several months ago & asked her to make them on the show. I'm sure she didn't see it but I'm extremely pleased that she made them so everyone else can make them. The spice blend is awesome. I couldn't stop eating the finished product the first time I made them. I have made them several times & get lots of compliments when I'm willing to share..ha

I love wings but I guess I don't care for pomegranate molasses. This is a surprise to me because I love pomegranate juice and seeds. Watching Aarti the other day I thought this a perfect dish to make for a viewing party for the Women's World Cup final yesterday. The preparation was quite simple and I was pleased to have a chance to use a bottle of pomegranate molasses I'd found at a Middle Eastern store. The heat level was just right and I ground my own spices, so these smelled great as they cooked, but I guess I'm just not a fan of the flavor of pomegranate molasses. I have nearly a full bottle so I should search for some other recipes to see how else I might use it.

Wow, these were incredible. Made them for a party and there was plenty of food leftover but none of these!!
My variations - other than pepper, I did not grind my spices. Used more than 2lbs of wings, made my own pomegranate molasses (googled it and we grilled the wings. Really really really good wings!

This came out really good. We put them on the BBQ instead of the oven, a little faster and a nice crunch.

We tried this recipe today and it was great! We usually serve wings on the weekends and are always looking for new and exciting flavors to try. The wings were flavorful and the sauce was good(we spiced it up quite a bit thanks Aarti! We plan on trying more of your recipes and branching out!!
