I have been wanting to make this since I saw the show and it was awesome! Super creamy with a little spice, YUM! Grilled some shrimp to go with it too and it was great. Super easy too!

I have made this a few times now.....the pesto is yummy on more than just pasta!! I use lemon instead of lime. It makes a wonderful sandwich spread too.

This dish is so good my family could not stop eating! I did cut down on the salt to just 1/2 tsp and it tasted great. Thanks again Giada!

just because you don't like the taste of arugula doesn't make this a bad recipe! it is very goo, rich and creamy.

This was a refreshing surprise! I prepared it exactly as instructed but with a 50/50 spinach and arugula mix (I tried to pick out more arugula than spinach to stay true to the recipe. The pesto was creamy and zesty...if I didn't make it myself I wouldn't have been able to easily identify avocado and lime juice in the mixture. It is definitely a dish for adults, or at least a sophisticated palate. Very filling too, probably because of the avocado's richness.

This dish was very tasty. I would make sure to reserve some cooking liquid as it tends to need it, especially if there are leftovers. Overall, an ingenious use of avocados in a pesto. I love different twists on pestos! My Italian husband was very skeptical of this pesto but he loved it. Will definitely make again.

Fresh & flavorful. After I read the reviews and was prepared to love it or hate. Love it! Definitely making again, great for light summer dinners. I used baby arugula & lemon juice.

Avocado flavor was overpowering. Worst Giada recipe I've encountered. Was pretty bummed bc she rarely lets me down!

These flavors really didn't blend well. I like the avocado but the arugala is very strong and overbearing. One of her few "misses" with this recipe.
