Easy and delicious. I included pears with the apples. I served with Ina's zucchini vichyssoise for a French themed dinner party in the summer.

Really quick, easy salad. I would use a little less honey since it was a bit overpowering. But we devoured it! Will certainly be preparing this again. I used mixed baby salad leaves since I didn't find lambs leaf (mache. Def recommend!

My husband and I had this for dinner tonight, and it was very satisfying! I substituted the mâché for bagged spring mix out of convenience, and it worked very well. This would be a great salad to serve for guests - impressive, easy and most importantly, delicious!

This is amazing! Completely simple and so fantastic! I didn't have mache and used spring mix instead. Softened, slightly melted brie, apples on salad - beyond fantastic and always a winner! This can either be an entrée or a course. If you’re looking to elegant simplicity, this is it!

The Whole Foods in La Jolla always has mâché in a box. I used both mâché and watercress and replaced the apple with a pear and it was so delicious. Thanks, Ina!

If you love Brie this is the salad for you. I was able to find Mache but if you cannot baby spinach would be an excellent substitute. Another winner from Ina!

I couldn't find mache in grocery stores in San Diego, so we used watercress. If you like all of the ingredients in this salad, you'll love it. It's very simple, and feels like you're eating lunch at a European cafe. To make it more 'substantial for my husband, I grilled some scallops and placed them atop his salad, but it was more than enough for me, just as Ina prepared it.

no you do not remove the rind. If you do the cheese does turn to liquid. You may eat around the rind or the honey will sweeten it. I do try to eat around some of the heavy part of the rind when I melt brie, but the lighter part is ok.
