This was a delicious, satisfying low cal meal. The combination of ingredients were perfect for my families taste. Most importantly, this was an extreamly healthy meal. I purchased low fat, organic hotdogs. A slaw made with cabbage, carrots, apples and onions rounded the meal out. Will definitely make these hot dogs again.

I like my hot dogs the good ol' way...Chicago style. Not a fan of fruit with my hot dog although I'm sure others will enjoy this. I could see using chicken chunks with this recipe.

Beyond easy to make but really tasty! I've never had this combo of ingredients put all together before and just loved it! Sweet, salty, savory...yummy!!

These were fantastic. Of course if I didn't care about how many calories were in it I would use a fatty cut of meat, maybe sirloin, but given how few calories are in this dish - it's terrific.
I didn't have pineapple so I used bell peppers instead. I bet it would also taste good with onions on the skewer. And maybe some mustard to dip it in.
This is a perfect low calorie option and a great way to have hot dogs BUNLESS. It's especially perfect for low carb diets. I am not on a low carb diet, but I am trying to keep my servings of carbs to twice a day, so having the hot dog bunless frees up my carb options for something else.
And it's filling. You get to have TWO hot dogs per serving.
Thanks LIsa, for another great recipe. Keep em coming.

At first I was skeptical about trying this but we enjoyed it. I did not like the cherry tomatoes with it. I thought the hotdog and pineapple tasted good together. I fixed this for my husband and 3yr old daughter.

We loved it, we used the Hebrew National 97% fat free hot dogs, which were fantastic with the pineapple. I didn't have any cherry tomatoes so I substituted them out for some Zucchini instead. Sooooo gooooood! I have a 12 year old an 11 year old and a 9 year old and they loved it also. Perfect for a hot evening!

This was very tasty. The pineapple pairs well with the hot dogs. I used chicken dogs, dole pineapple in 100% juice, and grape tomatoes. Everyone loved it. It is a hit with kids. It's not really cooking, but the idea to put all that together and make a meal is very creative. I like Hungry Girl. I am a hungry girl and am always looking for new ways to eat things for less calories. KUDOS

The pineapple completely overpowered the hot dogs (which didn't surprise me since pineapple flavor tends to do that to subtle flavors and the flavor of cherry tomatoes didn't mesh with a hot dog taste at all. No one liked this and we won't be making again.
