This omelet is great!! I used diced smoked sausage and southwestern shredded hash browns. I added a couple handfuls of cheddar cheese to the eggs. Eight minutes is the perfect cooking time. This recipe is so versatile and I plan on trying it with bacon, sausage and ham. Thanks Ina!!

We thought the omlete was great. Very easy to make. I cut down the salt a bit and added cheddar cheese at the last couple of minutes. I cooked it about 2 minutes longer. Those were the only changes. There are alot of things you can do to this receipe and it will be fun to try them out. Thanks Ina, your the greatest.

I saw Ina make the recipe last weekend and couldn't wait to try it this morning. Perfect! Even my 7-yr old son loved it. This one will be a regular in our family from now on. I'm interested to try it with some different fillings.

We made this recipe exactly as stated and it was wonderful, easy and inexpensive. It was more like a fritatta than an omelet and we are totally okay with that. I will never make an omelet any other way and the possibilities of future fillings have definitly raised the bar of an ordinary omelet. The time given was perfect. Well worth making.

This was so simple to make and had just simple ingredients but it was so delicious. I had to make some substitutions based on my dietary needs: I don't eat meat so I didn't use the bacon. I have a dairy intolerance so I subsituted soy milk and margarine for the milk and butter. I added some shallots and garlic. The recipe didn't call for any salt, which I'm guessing was because it used bacon, but I found that I had to add salt to boost the flavor. It took 10 minutes in my oven and was set perfectly. A definite make again recipe.

Very tasty, maybe use a few less potatoes. I think they make it a little heavy, but overall a wonderful Omelet

Saw the show yesterday. We had all the ingredients on hand. My husband made it for our breakfast this morning. We both loved it. Very easy to make-especially for me given that my husband made it.
