The apple cider vinegar was a little over powering. Would make again but would either use apple juice or omit entirely.

Wasn't sure if I wanted to try this with the rouladen recipe, but it was great paired with the meat from the other recipe. Would definitely make this again to go with it. Great flavor.

Good. I also add whole cloves and a bay leaf while braising. I add vinegar and brown sugar at the end to taste...because that's how my mom taught me. She said that adding the vinegar to soon would make the cabbage tough. Not sure if she was right about that though.

Loved the recipe! Will become a standard with my pork dishes as well. Glad to see some of the old country recipes. Great use for cabbage as well. As a HOME COOK and a full time employee, I appreciate having simpler dishes to go to as well as the more complex ones.

Just didn't work for me as a FN recipe - standard in every cookbook for the last 25 years. I think the whole "home cooks" concept isn't working for FN. What about some recipes that are new and creative?

I thought that this was really really good! I have made many of Melissas recipes and they never disappoint. Thanks Melissa!
