This is the best recipe for tuna and Anne is great. However the only thing I added were light brown and black sesame seeds.....just remove the tuna from the marinade and roll in the sesame seeds before cooking as directed. Adds a great sesame crunch and dimension to the tuna. I think Anne would definitely agree.

I made this for dinner the same night I saw the show. My tuna wasn't as thick as Anne's so I only marinated for 1 hour in the fridge and 40 minutes on the kitchen counter. This was delicious. My husband asked that I make this again tonight for dinner.
This gets 5 stars

I wish I could describe the delicious flavor of this tuna preparation but just take my word for it and make it!! I didn't have sambal oelek, so I substituted a scant tsp. of Lan Chi chili paste with garlic and about 3 drops of sriracha hot chili sauce (the bottle with the rooster on it...I couldn't taste a hot spice in the final product which was good...maybe it just amplified the other flavors.
Seriously, this was restaurant quality tuna...thanks Anne for yet another winning recipe.

This is The Best seared tuna I've ever had. 5 star restaurant quality. I've never marinated tuna before...and it made all the difference. The tuna was so flavorful and melt in your mouth. No need to dunk the tuna in soy sauce or any other sauce. This is the only way I'll sear tuna from now on. Thank you Anne. I Love your show.
