Tasty! A new favorite! I was rushed for lunch before DH went to work.
I used a 14 oz. can of petit diced tomato, doubled the amount of peas, added no water, forgot fresh herbs and vinegar. Served over brown rice. But it was great! Added a bit of Greek yogurt. Yum.
Reheated it for my dinner and added vinegar and a bit of parsley and mint. FAB-u-lous!

My husband and I liked this receipe. We have cooked Indian food before and this was just a breeze to make. My recommendation for those making it for the first time: make sure your spices are fresh. Other wise the flavor will turn out weak. Also, don't use a whole cup of water if using frozen peas, I used only half of a cup of water and that was enough. I made it with turkey, though and it was great!

I love this recipe. I love all her recipes. I think I have tried all of them. These recipes are so old, but delicious, I really would like some of her new ones. Where is she. She is never on anymore. I seen her on chopped 2 times but nothing since. Please let me know where she is or get us some new recipes. I will reate this a 5 star because I make all the time.

Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!
I have been trying to find more ways to use ground beef other than burgers. This is awesome. Thanks Arti!

It was ok, but I upped all the spices and still didn't think it had enough flavor. Mine was also very greasy, I'd recommend draining off fat during cooking.

I make Pakistani/Indian food for my husband because he is Paki and he loves it. He asked for keema and so I tried this recipe with high hopes. Unfortunately it was not very good, it wasn't uneatable but he did not like it and said it was nothing like authentic keema. I guess this is more of like a toned down American version. I will not use this again and will search for a better recipe.

turned out pretty good! i made it with 85/15 ground beef and i felt it was a little too greasy. i didn't have garam marsala on hand so i used curry like someone else suggested. also i used smoked paprika (just because i love it. i did start out with a doubling off all the spices and then added some extra even on top of that. next time i'll try it with ground turkey and have some naan on hand but it was tasty.

This was my first experience with Indian food, cooking or eating. My kids and I loved it. What a flavor explosion in my mouth. I also shared it with some friends and got rave reviews. I followed the recipe measurements exactly and let it simmer until it was the consistency that I wanted. Will be making again soon.
