Hubby and I loved this recipe. He doesn't usually like oil and vinegar based dressings. He went back for seconds. It's a hit! Love your show. Thanks

I was worried that 1 cup of olive oil would be too heavy for the tomatoes, but it wasn't - it was perfect, light and delicious.

Yum! This was so fresh and delicious! I took it to a cookout and everyone loved it! My only tip would be to be sure to drain your tomatoes before you add the dressing. Mine got a little soupy.

I rate this as a five star. The dressing was simple and so tasty. I will be using this as my secret recipe.

I usually don't go for any tomatoes in any way, but this "MARINATED TOMATO SALAD with HERBS" is simply EXCELLENT!!! I guess that is what happens when an Oklahoma Girl follows another Oklahoma Girl's recipe!!!

I also thought that a whole cup of oil was a lot, so I used only 1/2 cup, but followed the rest of the recipe as written. The tomatoes were wonderful & I even liked it with the brown sugar. They had a great flavor. I fed 7 people on Sunday & had the tomatoes as a side dish & everyone (except for my picky dad loved them. I paired them with the Peach Whiskey BBQ Chicken from PW's blog & some sour cream & chive mashed potatoes. Needless to say, Sunday lunch was a huge success & I will be making these tomatoes again.

Make this all the time and have for years, one difference is I add crushed garlic and do not add any type of sugar-the tomatoes are sweet enough on their own. Green onion eh-I never added it may try it in the future.

Too much oil and sugar in this recipe. Fresh, summer vegetables don't need to be doctored or disguised like this. A judicious use of fresh herbs does a better job of bringing out the flavour of the tomatoes. And there is just way too much oil...
