    These are amazing! My husband was watching the show and said "I want those":- I tried them about a week later and we LOVED them! Amazing and easy. Very fresh. Made as is and they needed absolutely no changes!

    I am a big fan of the show and I am so glad Jeff won. I love Greek food and I am always looking for new ways to cook Greek food in my home.

    I made these this week and they were a huge hit! Based on some of the other reviewers' comments, I omitted the tomato sauce from the lamb, omitted the feta from the tzatziki sauce, and added an extra garlic clove and some dill to the tzatziki. The result was delicious! My seven-year-old son told me "I'm diggin' this lamb!" We will definitely be making these again.

    One reviewer mentioned that this was nothing like a gyro. It's not a gyro. It's a Greek taco made with ground lamb. It is seasoned very similarly to a gyro and the flavor combinations are close to that of a gyro sandwich, but it's not a gyro. It is, however, a great "make-it-at-home" substitute for a gyro.

    Kudos, Jeff! Can't wait to try the cod sliders!

    My husband and I LOVED this!! My store only had one pound of lamb, so I mixed in some ground pork, but the combination and ease of my notes while watching the show made it simple and easy to make. Making the steak sandwiches tonight, that ribeye is a waitin'!

    1 Sandwich King = family's favorite food network show

    2 Jeff = great chef, excellant instructor, funny, relaxed, cool retro look and persona

    3 Greek Taco = delicious, easy to prepare, healthy, aromatic,lambalicious,herbatious and to be repeated often

    4 extras = followed the recipe right down to the cooks glass of wine, except used Naan instead of pita (couldn't find non-pocket pitas think I'll use Naan next time as well,because the whole dish was perfect! I do need to find some of that white paper to wrap them in. A bonus was the lesson,through demonstration, on chopping and cutting the veggies, made preparation so much easier! Well thats all I got. Oh except I'll be making the steak and spinach sandwich Sat,followed by the beer battered cod and all the others, can't wait!

    I am making this tonight because Jeff made it look so tasty while watching his show. The Sandwich King is my favorite show and Jeff will be another Guy Fieri!

    Have'nt made it yet...but watching this Greek taco being prepared by Jeff, made our mouths water yearning to eat it right then and there....loved watching you Jeff....great job! Will watch every show if I can...who doesn't love a good sandwich?
