This is the best meatball recipe. The first time I made these they were so tender I had to double check to make sure they were cooked fully! I have also made this as a meatloaf as I was too lazy to make meatballs and it was fantastic. Great Recipe. I have never had Ikea's meatballs so I can't compare it to them, but I was just in Sweden and had Swedish Meatballs at the Volvo Factory Center when I picked up my car and had to say I like these better!

I have made this wonderful recipe several times since it first came out in the magazine. I have used every combination of beef, pork, and turkey and they always turn out perfectly moist and delicious. Love, love, love this recipe!!

Excellent recipe! Only thing I would change is cutting the salt otherwise it was perfect, my family loved it.

Loved this recipe. I have never had Ikea meatballs, so I can't compare there, but I have had my grandfathers and always thought his were the best.....I hate to admit, but these are just as good : I didn't use pork, just had ground chuck on hand, otherwise I did everything else to a tee. My kids loved it, that makes life easy. This recipe will be on our regular rotation.

This is a really good recipe. I lightened it up because we're dieting. I used ground turkey and ground pork that I had in the freezer; cooking spray for sauteeing; skim milk. But we had to have mashed potatoes cuz this has gravy!! I made dinner size meatballs and it made 20.

These were very good, my kids LOVED them but the meatball tastes nothing like Ikea's meatballs. (The gravy is exactly like Ikea's though. Half way through the meal my 8 yr old exclaimed "This tastes like meatloaf". Exactly.

This was so-so. The reviewer that said it was way too saltly scared me so I only used 1 teaspoon of kosher salt, should have used 2. Also added parsley to the meatballs. Nothing special about this recipe, won't be making this again.

I have made these twice now and they were perfect both times. The first time was for a cocktail party & i didn't change a thing. first thing gone, people where crazy about them. I made them last night for dinner to serve over egg noodles. My kids LOVED them. I did doupble the sauce to serve over noodles. No need to do that if you are making them to eat on their own, but I do suggest doing that if serving them over anything. Used beef stock instead of broth & made them even better. I almost didn't buy the lingonberries b/c they were rather pricey (I think about $8 for the jar, but I am glad I did b/c they do add something & this one jar will last forever. Enjoy!
