This recipe has got to be THE best for pancakes. I typically don't like the texture of pancakes but these were light, fluffy, and went down easy. Adding lemon made them so tasty! Enjoy!

I'm not sure whether or not I should have rated it 5 stars because I changed a few items, but it was the best ever pancake recipe I have ever made! I didn't have the evap. milk so I changed to heavy cream, 12 ounces and a half of a cup of sour cream. I didn't change anything else and it was sooooooooo good! My mouth is watering right now just thinking about the leftovers that I can now have for lunch! Wonderful!

I didn't have cake flour so I used self-rising flour and omitted the baking powder and salt...they turned out great! We really love the lemon and zest in them!

I finally had the chance to make these pancakes. So scrumptious! For those of you who might be afraid of the lemony flavor, don't be. The lemon zest and juice are subtle. I didn't have cake flour so I just used sifted regular flour with no problem. Delicious!

The best pancakes! My family loves them. I made them twice with buttermilk and they are so delicious that nothing else is needed :

These were great pancakes served with fresh blueberry syrup. The cake flour made them very light and the lemon was great combined with the bluberries. One might think the blueberry syrup would be to much but it actually complimented the flavor of the pancakes.

Very good, the lemon juice and zest give it an extra pop of flavor! I will make this again for sure!
