It lacked vanilla flavor, so I added an extra 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and a 1/2 teaspoon of lemon extract. I also added a little more sugar and less milk to thicken it up. overall it was tasty, but needs to be more creamy.

it really didn't taste right... so i did add a little more vanilla it helped and I also had to add a little more milk "cause i started a 1/4 cup of milk at a time... I think that next time i am gonna use heavy cream (don't know if this also made a difference i used unsalted butter usually i use salted... oh well got to keep trying until i get it right and i will... I promise that I will...!

I didn't try this recipe yet, but I've been making frosting for a while now. For the people who are saying it was too runny: if your frosting is too thin (like icing then there's a high chance you added more milk than powdered sugar. You need to add a good amount of powdered sugar in order for your frosting to have a good spreading consistency. The more powdered sugar you add, the more thick the frosting will be. If it becomes too thick, just add some more milk to even it out!

I was using this recipe as a quick vanilla frosting base, but I had to scrap the whole thing. I didn't even use all of the sugar the recipe called for and it was still far too sweet. The vanilla extract was also overpowering.

Not the greatest, but it will do in a pinch or if your simply lacking ingredients for something more fancy.

Turned out great! Turned out thick and creamy, tried to make it purple, took about 10 minutes for the color to turn to purple completely. DELICIOUS!!!
